I was struck by the explosion of colors and the concept when I first saw this painting. I've since come to order several of his prints, and yet this is still my favorite.

My all-time favorite artist on this site, she's probably sick of me singing her praises over detail, color, and composition. But the atmosphere her photography embodies captures me again and again, so here's one of my favorites (that now hangs on my wall).

Snape Commission by Makani
Her sense of humor and lively drawing style made me a fan of her Livejournal far before I knew she was on this site! I love all of her works, whether spastic or incredible, though this is my favorite Harry Potter character depiction (outside of the Malfoys).
